If you are new to the concept of FI, episode 100 is a great place to start. Brad and Jonathan discuss why FI is such a liberating and achievable concept, and how just about any one can do it.
Don't be overwhelmed. There are many elements to FI, but we will break them down for you, and help you apply them to the areas in your life that this fit.
This guide will walk you through the basics of financial independence but if something doesn't fit for your life that's ok. This is your journey and your life. Use the tips you find helpful and toss the rest. We know as a group we can get a little extreme (ok, a lot extreme), but our community is full of diverse and wonderful people. There is no one way to reach financial independence.
Check out our guide for beginners. Prefer a more visual version? Check out our illustrated How of FI series.
The concepts behind Financial Independence are simple, but it’s easier if you have a community to answer your questions and help you stay on track.
Local groups have a variety of scopes. Some span multiple countries, while others focus on a particular neighborhoods within a city. You're welcome to participate in whichever set of groups you find value in.
We have gotten hundreds of emails asking us what tools and resources we use for getting things done, managing money, adding to our talent stack, and running this blog. We’ve created a useful page so you have a handy reference to those resources.
The page contains all the tools and resources that we have mentioned on the show in one easy place.
