Ingredients
1/4 cup soy sauce
5 TSP packed brown sugar
1 1/2 TSP rice vinegar
1/4 TSP pepper
2 TSP sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 TSP minced fresh ginger
1 lb ground beef
4 green onions, thinly sliced
2 cups cooked rice
1 TSP toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger. Cook and stir for 30 seconds. Add beef and cook until no pink remains, stirring to break up the meat as it cooks. Stir in the soy sauce mixture and white part of the green onions. Heat through.
- Serve beef over rice. Top with carrots, remaining green onions, and sesame seeds.
